On May 12, the April sales figures for new vehicles in China from Japan's three leading automakers were unveiled. Toyota witnessed a robust 20.8% year-over-year increase in sales, tallying 142,800 units, marking the third straight month of growth. Conversely, Honda and Nissan experienced setbacks. Honda's sales plummeted 40.8% year-over-year to 43,689 vehicles, marking the 15th consecutive month of decline. Nissan's sales also fell, dropping 15.7% to 46,295 units, the 13th consecutive month of decline.
