General Motors (GM) has announced the appointment of Sterling Anderson, co-founder of autonomous truck company Aurora, as Executive Vice President of Global Product and Chief Product Officer. In this role, Anderson will oversee the entire product lifecycle of both gasoline and electric vehicles. He is set to commence his duties on June 2 at GM's technical center in Mountain View, California.
