Recently, Beijing JD.com 360-Degree E-commerce Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of JD.com Group, has filed for the registration of multiple 'Joyrobotaxi' trademarks, encompassing key sectors such as transportation means, scientific instruments, and transportation and storage. This strategic move is widely perceived within the industry as an indication that JD.com is officially venturing into the autonomous taxi (Robotaxi) sector. Since 2016, JD.com has been advancing its driverless delivery vehicles and has acquired L4 autonomous driving technology along with related core patents.
