On May 7, documents released by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) indicated that Volvo Cars of North America had initiated a recall for select 2021-2025 model year XC40s, 2022 model year V90s, and 2022-2025 model year S90s, V90CCs, C40s, XC60s, along with 2023-2025 model year S60s, V60s, V60CCs, and XC90s, amounting to a total of 413,151 vehicles. The recall is necessary because the rearview camera images on these vehicles may fail to display.
