Data from the research group New AutoMotive reveals that Tesla's new car sales in the UK plummeted by 62% year-on-year in April, reaching their lowest point in more than two years despite the surging demand for electric vehicles. Concurrently, Tesla's sales in other key European markets also hit multi-year lows. Facing competition from European and Chinese electric vehicle brands, Tesla is strategizing to introduce an enhanced version of the Model Y to regain market share.
