On May 6, several AITO vehicle owners reported via the HarmonyOS Intelligent Driving App that the certificate of conformity for their purchased AITO M8 Max+ vehicles indicated lithium iron phosphate batteries, contrary to the promoted ternary lithium batteries. In response, the official HarmonyOS Intelligent Driving App issued a statement, acknowledging that upon verification, they discovered a printing error in the certificate of conformity for some AITO M8 Max+ and Ultra models. The official team apologized to the affected car owners for any confusion this may have caused.
The official emphasized that the AITO M8 Max+ and Ultra models are indeed equipped with ternary lithium batteries as standard, aligning with the vehicle access announcement and the official parameter configuration table. Car owners are assured that they can use their vehicles with full confidence.
