On April 28, BYD Cambodia Passenger Vehicle Factory, the kingdom's pioneering new energy vehicle production facility, was officially established within the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone. Spanning an area of 12 hectares, the factory boasts a total investment of US$32 million and is poised to commence operations in the fourth quarter of this year, with an anticipated annual production capacity of 10,000 vehicles. This significant development marks the commencement of BYD's localized operations in Cambodia.
