Tesla is ramping up mass production of its Semi electric semi-trailers at its Gigafactory in Sparks, Nevada, and to achieve this, the company is recruiting over 1,000 new employees. In a YouTube announcement, Tesla revealed that the first batch of Semi trucks will roll off the production line at the factory by the end of 2025, with an anticipated annual production capacity set at 50,000 units. Prior to this, select Semi trucks have already been delivered to PepsiCo and DHL for pilot testing.
