Isuzu has initiated mass production of an all-electric variant of its popular mid-size D-Max pickup truck in Thailand. This model showcases a dual-motor, four-wheel drive system delivering a robust power output of 140kW, ensuring performance on par with existing diesel models. As per Electrek, the new D-Max EV boasts the same impressive towing capacity as its diesel counterpart, at 3,500 kilograms, albeit with a slightly reduced payload capacity of approximately 1,010 kilograms, likely due to the integration of a 66.9kWh battery pack.
