Adjusted Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) amounted to $3.49 billion, showing a 9.8% decline year-over-year. Notably, adjusted earnings per share (EPS) reached $2.78, exceeding the $2.62 recorded in the corresponding period last year.
