Feng Xingya, Chairman of GAC Group, underscored that automotive safety stands as a fundamental benchmark, noting that all vehicles currently available on the market are fitted with L2-level advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). He urged manufacturers to delineate the technical distinctions between L2, L3, and L4 levels with clarity, thereby ensuring consumers have a precise understanding of product capabilities. Recently, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) launched an initiative aimed at standardizing the promotion of ADAS to preclude any consumer misunderstanding. Furthermore, Huawei, in collaboration with 11 automotive brands, unveiled the Intelligent ADAS Safety Initiative, advocating for technical transparency and a user-centric approach to collectively elevate the safety standards of intelligent driving.
