During the 2025 Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, Porsche proudly announced the completion of a strategic structural upgrade for its China R&D Center. The Center has now taken up residence in the Jiading District of the prestigious Hongqiao International Central Business District (CBD). Scheduled to commence operations in the latter half of the year, this new facility epitomizes Porsche's commitment to enhancing local research and development autonomy. Integrating Porsche R&D China's various branches, digital technology, and engineering entities within China, the new site spans over 10,000 square meters and boasts state-of-the-art professional workshops and human-computer interaction laboratories. It will primarily focus on the development of "hardware and software integrated" infotainment and driver assistance systems tailored specifically for the Chinese market.
