The Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, in collaboration with four other government departments, has unveiled a policy outlining that by 2025, individual consumers who purchase new-energy or fuel-powered passenger vehicles priced above 100,000 yuan and compliant with National VIb emission standards, while also transferring ownership of their old vehicles registered in other provinces or cities, will qualify for a one-time subsidy of either 15,000 yuan or 13,000 yuan.
