Nissan has proudly unveiled its inaugural plug-in hybrid pickup truck, the Frontier Pro PHEV. This groundbreaking vehicle signifies the first global pickup truck model conceived, engineered, and manufactured by Nissan in China, a testament to the synergy between the Chinese and Japanese R&D teams at Zhengzhou Nissan. Masayuki Machi, Chairman of the Nissan China Management Committee and President of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., disclosed that by the summer of 2027, Nissan aims to introduce 10 new energy vehicles into the Chinese market, expanding its lineup of Nissan-branded new energy vehicles from 5 to 9 models.
