At the 2025 Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, GAC AION and Didi Chuxing's Autonomous Driving Division proudly unveiled the world's first pre-installed, mass-produced L4 highly autonomous driving vehicle designed for global adaptability. This groundbreaking vehicle seamlessly integrates Didi's cutting-edge autonomous driving hardware with GAC AION's globally recognized safety redundancy chassis architecture. Mass production and delivery are anticipated by the end of this year, with large-scale operations planned for next year.
GAC AION has pledged to assume full responsibility for the autonomous driving safety of its L4 models and aims to introduce L4 models tailored for individual users by 2027. The new vehicle boasts an impressive array of 33 sensors, enabling full-scene, all-weather 360° perception capabilities. With GPU computing power exceeding 2000 TOPS, it delivers high data processing capabilities and low latency, effortlessly meeting the demands of complex driving environments.
