Horizon Robotics has launched its L2 Urban Area Assisted Driving System (HSD) in Shanghai. This system, equipped with the Journey 6P computing solution and featuring an end-to-end technical architecture, marks the first full-stack development of an L2 system in China, integrating both hardware and software. Yu Kai, CEO of Horizon Robotics, outlined a strategic timeline for the advancement of intelligent driving and urged the industry to approach promotional efforts with prudence. Chery Automobile has been named as the inaugural partner for HSD, with the system set to make its global debut and enter mass production on the EXEED brand. Volkswagen, too, will deepen its collaboration with Horizon Robotics through a joint venture. Furthermore, Horizon Robotics has introduced the innovative Horizon Cell "Clip System," which facilitates software and hardware upgrades. The HSD offers three tailored solution versions to cater to diverse needs. To date, Horizon Robotics has established partnerships with over 40 automakers and holds a leading position in market share.
