On April 9, NIO Power and Jining Hi-Tech Holding Group inked a partnership agreement in Jining, aiming to collaboratively construct 50 NIO battery swap stations across Shandong Province. Notably, the initial batch of three stations is already operational. The core of this collaboration revolves around the development and management of charging and battery swap infrastructure for new energy vehicles (NEVs), embracing energy storage technology and battery cascading utilization. This strategic move is intended to expedite the deployment of an energy replenishment network for NEVs in Shandong, thereby boosting the share of eco-friendly transportation.
