German luxury sports car manufacturer Porsche announced on Tuesday that its global vehicle deliveries in the first quarter of 2023 declined by 8% year-on-year, totaling 71,470 units. This decrease was primarily driven by waning demand in China and Europe. Notably, China experienced the steepest drop in deliveries, recording a 42% decrease. Europe and the German home market also witnessed declines, by 10% and 34%, respectively. Conversely, the North American market showed resilience, with deliveries increasing by 37% to 20,698 units. This uptick was partly attributed to the postponement of model deliveries in the corresponding period last year.
