Recently, Tesla has witnessed a substantial drop in electric vehicle sales across multiple European markets. According to data released by the French automobile manufacturing and sales data platform, Tesla's sales in France plummeted by 36.8% year-on-year in March, amidst a slight decline in the overall electric vehicle market. In Sweden, Tesla's sales experienced a steep decline of 63.9% year-on-year in March, with first-quarter sales down by 55.2% compared to the previous year. Similarly, data from Denmark indicates a 56% year-on-year decrease in Tesla's sales during the first quarter. Sales figures for March in Germany, the UK, and Italy are anticipated to be disclosed in the near future. Statistics reveal that Tesla's sales in the EU have nearly halved in the first two months of this year, currently holding a mere 1.1% market share.
