Hyundai Motor and its subsidiary Kia Motors jointly announced on Wednesday that sales in the US market surged to an all-time high last month, marking the sixth consecutive month of growth. This surge came just before the implementation of tariffs on imported cars in the US. In March 2023, Hyundai sold 87,019 vehicles in the US, representing a year-on-year increase of 13.1%. This performance marked the best March sales on record for Hyundai and the second-highest sales figure for any single month in the company's history.
