On April 2, data unveiled by Italy's Ministry of Transport on Tuesday revealed a notable rebound in Tesla's new car registrations in March, totaling 2,217 units—a 51% increase year-on-year. However, for the entire first quarter, registrations dipped by 7% compared to the same period last year. In February, Tesla's new car registrations had plummeted by 54% year-on-year. This quarterly trend suggests that heightened market competition and some drivers' aversion to Tesla due to Elon Musk's political views may be influencing purchasing decisions. During the first quarter of 2023, Tesla sold a total of 3,469 new cars in Italy.
