In March, FAW-Volkswagen sold 154,000 vehicles, with a 1.4% year-on-year increase in fuel vehicle sales. Specifically, the Volkswagen brand accounted for 87,000 units, the Audi brand sold 56,000 units, and the Jetta brand contributed 11,000 units. Additionally, China FAW and the Volkswagen Group inked a deal to introduce 11 new models, starting from 2026. Both Volkswagen and Jetta brands will embrace a new electric platform and architecture to expedite their transition towards intelligent electrification. It is noteworthy that the first Jetta pure electric vehicle is expected to set a new industry benchmark.
