Renault and Nissan have reached an agreement to reduce their cross-shareholding ratio to 10%. Under this arrangement, Nissan will be able to sell one-third of its Renault shares, raising approximately 690 million euros. Commencing in 2026, Renault will assume control of the Indian joint venture, responsible for producing small electric vehicles for Nissan, while Nissan will cease its investments in Renault's Ampere business. The transaction is anticipated to conclude by the end of the first half of this year, resulting in a decrease of approximately 200 million euros in Renault's free cash flow for the year.
