Evergrande Auto (00708.HK) has announced a postponement in the release of its 2024 annual report, citing financial difficulties stemming from its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Evergrande Hengchi New Energy Automobile (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., which has entered bankruptcy liquidation proceedings. The company's inability to secure additional funds to replenish its dwindling capital has subsequently hindered the completion of audits. Consequently, trading in Evergrande Auto's shares has been suspended effective April 1, 2025, until further notice.
