Thalys has released an announcement revealing that in 2024, the company recorded operating revenue of RMB 145.176 billion, marking a significant year-on-year increase of 305%. This substantial growth was accompanied by a net profit of RMB 5.946 billion, representing Thalys' first profitable year. As a result, the company intends to reward its shareholders with a cash dividend of RMB 0.97 per share, inclusive of tax. Furthermore, Thalys Auto aims to attract strategic investors such as ICBC Investment, BOCOM Investment, and ABC Investment, with plans to jointly raise capital of up to RMB 5 billion.
Concurrently, Thalys has received approval from its board of directors and supervisory board for the issuance of H shares and subsequent listing on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. This move signifies Thalys' strategic expansion into overseas capital markets, heralding a new chapter in the company's growth trajectory.
