The National Energy Administration has announced its commitment to accelerating the development of a novel industrial ecosystem designed to foster the integrated growth of vehicles and power grids. By the close of 2024, the nationwide tally of charging infrastructure stood at 12.818 million units, marking a significant year-on-year surge of 49.1%, supported by over 10,000 charging operators. Looking ahead, the National Energy Administration intends to further bolster the construction of charging facilities, addressing existing gaps while vigorously pushing forward innovation and nurturing new technologies and business models within the charging sector.
