On March 29, Lei Jun, the visionary founder of Xiaomi Group, made a significant announcement at the China EV100 Forum. Within mere days of its release, Xiaomi sold 10,000 units of the SU7 Ultra, surpassing its annual sales target ahead of schedule. Lei Jun underscored that the luxury car market, specifically for vehicles priced above 500,000 yuan, saw a robust sales volume of 121,000 units last year, signaling that Xiaomi has successfully gained entry into the super luxury car sector.

Emphasizing the technological prowess driving domestic car brands toward the high-end market, Lei Jun noted that these brands are investing heavily in groundbreaking innovations. This approach is anchored in a philosophy that values technology-driven growth, deep cultivation of foundational technologies, and sustained, long-term investment. Xiaomi itself has invested approximately 105 billion yuan in this endeavor and anticipates investing over 30 billion yuan this year.

Furthermore, Lei Jun revealed Xiaomi's strategic vision to forge a holistic ecosystem that seamlessly integrates people, cars, and homes. He emphasized the company's openness to collaboration, willing to extend its ecosystem to potential partners.
