On March 29, Xin Guobin, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, declared at the China EV100 Forum (2025) that the Ministry, as the governing body of the automotive industry, will expedite the formulation of a new development plan for the intelligent connected new energy vehicle industry at the conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan and the onset of the 15th Five-Year Plan.
