On March 29, Chen Qingtai, the chairman of the China EV100 Forum, highlighted during the Forum's 2025 edition that China's new energy vehicles have embarked on a trajectory of stable, market-driven development. This milestone, achieved through diligent efforts, necessitates continued humility and a focus on strengthening our foundations. He stressed the importance of steadfastly advancing new energy vehicle development through robust top-level planning, accelerating research, development, and industrialization of solid-state batteries, and leveraging technological innovation as a core driver. Furthermore, he emphasized the need to enhance service systems encompassing charging infrastructure, financial insurance, maintenance, used car transactions, and battery recycling. Chen also advocated for integrating new energy vehicles with clean energy to maximize carbon reduction potential, while simultaneously establishing a comprehensive service support system to facilitate both domestic expansion and international collaboration.
