Baidu's Robotaxi service has forged a strategic partnership with Autogo in the United Arab Emirates to introduce driverless travel services in Abu Dhabi, aiming to establish the largest autonomous vehicle fleet in the region. This initiative seeks to enhance traffic efficiency and significantly reduce carbon emissions. To date, Robotaxi has successfully completed over 10 million rides, with a safe driving record surpassing 150 million kilometers. Impressively, the accident rate for these autonomous vehicles is just one-fourteenth that of human drivers. Currently operational in several cities across China, Robotaxi is also conducting road tests in Hong Kong and actively exploring opportunities for expansion into the Middle East and European markets.
