Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. has issued a recall for a total of 69,337 imported Lincoln Navigator and Ford Explorer vehicles. Specifically, 2,268 Lincoln Navigators may encounter seat belt malfunction due to welding defects in the seat belt pretensioner. In response, the company will replace the seat belt retractor assembly and install a drainage elbow at no cost to the customer. Furthermore, 67,069 Ford Explorers are at risk of component detachment due to improper installation of the A-pillar trim clip. To address this, the company will conduct inspections and replace the affected parts free of charge. The objective of this recall is to mitigate potential safety risks.
