Tesla's official website has announced a change in the naming convention for its advanced driver assistance systems in the Chinese market. The Autopilot suite has been rebranded as the Pilot suite, while the previously known Full Self-Driving (FSD) suite has now been officially titled the "Smart Pilot Feature." Notably, the price of the Smart Pilot Feature remains unchanged at RMB 64,000.
This renaming represents a strategic adjustment by Tesla to better align its assisted driving features with local cultural and linguistic nuances in China.
