Recently, the Technical Cooperation on Multi-focal Plane AR-HUD System, a joint venture between Huawei Corporation and led by Associate Professor Qin Zong from Sun Yat-sen University's School of Electronics and Information Engineering, has been bestowed with the prestigious 'Excellent Technical Cooperation Project Award' by Huawei's Optical Product Line. This accolade, presented by Huawei to standout industry-university collaboration projects, emphasizes technological innovation and the feasibility of practical applications. Among approximately 100 competing projects from the optical product line, only five were distinguished with this honor. The project focuses on the research and development of advanced head-up display (HUD) technology for automobiles, with the aim of enhancing driving safety and optimizing information delivery to drivers.
