During the Q4 and full-year 2024 earnings call, Li Bin, Chairman and CEO of NIO, revealed that the company's upcoming ET9 model will be the pioneer in utilizing its proprietary Shenji NX9031 intelligent driving chip. He further stated that NIO intends to gradually integrate these self-developed chips into subsequent vehicle models. At present, there are no immediate plans to adopt NVIDIA's Thor intelligent driving chip.
