Huawang Automotive Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. has recently been established, with Ge Xianqing serving as its legal representative and a substantial registered capital of 1.5 billion yuan. This venture is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangzhou Automobile Group, and its diverse business portfolio includes automobile sales, manufacturing, and wholesale/retail of automotive components, intelligent in-vehicle systems, intelligent unmanned aerial vehicles, service consumer robots, virtual reality device manufacturing, and sales of electric accessories for new energy vehicles. According to media reports, Huwang Automotive Technology is the GH project company of Guangzhou Automobile Group, aimed at fostering deeper collaboration with Huawei to introduce a groundbreaking new automotive brand. Earlier this year, in January, Guangzhou Automobile Group announced its intention to invest in the establishment of this GH project company, with an identical registered capital of 1.5 billion yuan.
