In response to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers' (CAAM) advocacy for automakers to halt the publication of weekly sales rankings, Li Auto has adhered to this request and ceased releasing such rankings since March 19. CAAM emphasizes that the frequent dissemination of weekly sales rankings, often sourced from unclear data, can lead to misleading public perceptions, disrupt industry order, and intensify unhealthy competition. Instead, it recommends that enterprises release data on a more comprehensive monthly, quarterly, or annual basis to prevent fragmented information from distorting market perceptions. Furthermore, it has been confirmed that a weekly sales ranking circulating online is unofficial and not produced by Li Auto.
