Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission, alongside other relevant departments, has unveiled the "Measures to Encourage the Development of Electric Vehicle Charging and Swapping Facilities in Shanghai". According to these measures, charging companies will be eligible for a subsidy equivalent to 30% of the investment in charging equipment installed in designated demonstration communities. Specifically, the subsidy cap is set at 600 yuan per kilowatt for DC (Direct Current) facilities and 300 yuan per kilowatt for AC (Alternating Current) facilities. Additionally, the owners' committees of these demonstration communities will receive a one-time subsidy based on the count of newly constructed charging spaces.
