Zhang Xinghai, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), disclosed during a CPPCC session that China's new energy vehicle (NEV) production and sales surpassed 13 million units in 2024. This represents 70% of the global market share, cementing China's position as the world leader for ten consecutive years. This remarkable feat is attributed to a confluence of factors: national policy support, market-oriented capital investments, consumer trust in domestic brands, and relentless efforts from enterprises across the entire NEV industry chain. Thalys Group, as a prominent vehicle manufacturer, adheres to the principle of user supremacy and embraces the concept of "software-defined vehicles." The company collaborates with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) enterprises to forge high-end brands. Thalys' flagship product, the Wenjie M9, has sold over 150,000 units since its launch, garnering overwhelming market acclaim. Zhang Xinghai emphasized that China's NEV industry must continue to prioritize technological and industrial innovation, expedite its internationalization process, and contribute to the realization of China's dream of becoming a powerful automobile nation.
