Yi Rong, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, disclosed that China is vigorously advancing reusable rocket technology. Last year, the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, in collaboration with Lanjian Aerospace, successfully concluded a vertical take-off and landing flight test covering a distance of 10 kilometers. This year, several reusable rockets are anticipated to embark on their maiden flights or undergo testing phases. Additionally, China is in the midst of developing a new generation of manned rockets, notably the Long March 10 designated for lunar missions, along with enhanced versions of rockets tasked with transporting personnel and cargo to the space station. Notably, one of these rockets is reusable, and the overall progress of the project is proceeding smoothly.
