On the eve of the 2025 Two Sessions, Feng Xingya, a deputy to the National People's Congress, presented several key suggestions. He contended that the battery swapping model aligns with the dual carbon strategy and offers an effective solution to the challenge of electric vehicle charging. Feng Xingya recommended that the government bolster policy support, devise comprehensive plans and layouts, and standardize battery specifications to expedite the adoption of this model. Concurrently, he underscored the importance of power battery recycling and utilization, advocating for the implementation of pertinent regulations and standards, the optimization of production capacity allocation, and the enhancement of regulatory measures.
Furthermore, Feng Xingya highlighted an issue impacting overseas after-sales services: defective auto parts sold abroad are difficult to repatriate for testing, despite China's position as the world's largest automobile exporter. To address this, he proposed gradually lifting import restrictions, establishing recycling pilot projects, and revising relevant regulations and standards.
Lastly, Feng Xingya emphasized the substantial commercial and social value of the humanoid robot sector. He urged the acceleration of policy formulation, the promotion of technological advancements, and the expediting of demonstration applications in this field.
