Huawei and Chery's collaborative brand, iCAR, has recently inaugurated a state-of-the-art R&D center in Shanghai's Changning District, aiming to bolster its team with approximately 200 new recruits. The brand has introduced two models to date: the iCAR S7 and the iCAR R7. Notably, the iCAR R7 has demonstrated remarkable market traction, with cumulative firm orders surpassing 70,000 units. For three consecutive months, monthly deliveries have exceeded 10,000 units, firmly positioning the iCAR R7 at the pinnacle of sales for Chinese-brand pure electric SUVs priced above 250,000 yuan.
