On February 27, WeRide announced a groundbreaking collaboration with the Renault Group, French autonomous vehicle operator beti, and insurance giant Macif to introduce an L4 autonomous minibus service in the Drôme region of France. This milestone signifies WeRide's inaugural deployment of fully driverless, commercial autonomous minibuses on public roads in Europe. The fleet will commence operations at the business park adjacent to the Gare de Valence TGV station in Drôme on March 10.
