Ouyang Minggao, an academician at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the vice chairman of the China EV100 Forum, stated on February 25th that projections indicate that by 2025, plug-in hybrid technology will likely capture approximately 40% of the new energy vehicle market share. Meanwhile, the market share for extended-range technology is anticipated to stabilize at around 10%, with the share of pure electric technology expected to decline to roughly 50%.
