Tesla is bringing mass production of the Cybertruck to an end. Recent actual sales of the model are only about one-tenth of planned capacity, and the lower-priced version failed to boost demand. Its production line is now set to give way to the Cybercab, which is currently under federal regulatory investigation. According to media reports on November 6, CEO Musk posted on X that the company will gradually wind down Cybertruck production at the Texas Gigafactory around the middle of next year to free up space for Cybercab capacity expansion.
