The General Office of the Henan Provincial Government recently issued the "Several Policy Measures of Henan Province to Further Boost Consumption," which proposes stepping up efforts to promote automobile consumption. These measures include: launching new energy vehicle rural promotion activities and implementing policies such as reductions and exemptions on vehicle purchase tax and vehicle and vessel tax, as well as subsidies for vehicle scrappage and renewal and for replacement renewal; encouraging localities to issue automobile aftermarket consumption vouchers covering maintenance and modification, tires, upkeep, power batteries, automotive supplies, and other areas, so as to promote automobile consumption across the entire chain; strengthening the development of Zhengzhou as a pilot city for automobile circulation and consumption reform, increasing efforts to cultivate automobile culture, developing new business forms such as car camping, self-driving living trips, automobile events, and themed exhibitions, promoting the deep integration of automobile consumption with culture and tourism, sports, and leisure, advancing the integration of people, vehicles, and scenery, and creating a full-scenario automobile consumption ecosystem.
