According to data from the General Administration of Customs, China's total import and export value of automotive products reached US$33.44 billion in September, rising 9.3% month-on-month and 34.3% year-on-year. Of this total, imports amounted to US$2.47 billion, down 11.1% month-on-month and 36.0% year-on-year, while exports stood at US$30.97 billion, up 11.3% month-on-month and 47.2% year-on-year. From January to September, cumulative imports and exports totaled US$261.08 billion, up 26.2% year-on-year, with imports at US$28.05 billion, down 18.1% year-on-year, and exports at US$233.03 billion, up 35.1% year-on-year.
