Jiang Wen, who is in charge of XPENG's MONA product line, and Wang Ziru, the founder of ZEALER, worked together to carry out a field test on the blowout stability function of the MONA L05. The vehicle was fully loaded with five passengers and nine pieces of luggage. As it accelerated to close to 160km/h, both the front and rear wheels on one side burst simultaneously. Surprisingly, the vehicle remained remarkably stable. Wang Ziru then took the driver's seat and went through the test himself. The blowout stability function is made possible through the seamless coordination of multiple systems, which enables a response within milliseconds. During the test, the vehicle, even with its tires blown out, smoothly entered a curve. Prior to this, XPENG had carried out a large number of experiments under more intricate conditions. XPENG announced that from the MONA L03 to the L05, the blowout stability function will be a standard feature across all models, with relevant models being developed in line with global standards. The MONA series will also keep upgrading its active safety configurations.
