On the 10th, four departments, including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, jointly released the "Notice on Further Strengthening the Management of Innovative Design, R&D Testing, and Validation of Automotive Products (Draft for Comments)." This notice sets forth specific testing and validation requirements for components such as virtual controls, door handles, new human-machine interaction systems, and large-angle seats. Its primary aim is to tighten oversight over "rushed vehicles."

The term "rushed vehicles" refers to car models that are developed with an excessively compressed R&D cycle and where real-vehicle validation processes are abbreviated in a bid to quickly enter the market. The new regulations mandate that automotive manufacturers intensify their testing and validation efforts to guarantee product safety and foster high-quality development within the automotive industry.
