Li Xiang, the CEO of Li Auto, has made an announcement that the highly anticipated 2026 Li Auto i6 is slated for an official launch on October 28. This new model comes with six significant enhancements compared to its previous version. These upgrades encompass ADB matrix headlights, an electric front trunk, dual zero-gravity front seats, expansive high-definition screens in both the front and rear cabins, a 96-degree self-developed supercharging battery, as well as the integration of the Qualcomm 8797 cockpit chip and the self-developed Mach M100 chip. Notably, the intelligent cockpit and intelligent driving assistance features will be standard across all trim levels.
Li Xiang emphasized that blockbuster models emerge as a market response to genuinely addressing user needs, rather than being the outcome of meticulous planning. The 2026 Li Auto i6 is strategically positioned to target the global market, with its European premiere scheduled for the Paris Motor Show on October 12. For domestic consumers, the vehicle will be available for viewing in stores starting from October 11. Test drives can be experienced following the official launch on October 28, with deliveries expected to commence in early November.
