Wuling Motors has proudly declared that its latest offering in the mid-to-large six-seater SUV segment, the Xingguang L, has soared past the 20,000-unit sales mark a mere 80 days following its debut. The vehicle made its official entry into the market on July 16th of this year, boasting three distinct models, all available at attractive launch incentive prices spanning from RMB 109,800 to RMB 132,800.
The Xingguang L caters to consumer preferences with a selection of five exterior color choices and two interior color themes. It commands attention with its impressive dimensions: 4,980mm in length, 1,930mm in width, and 1,760mm in height, coupled with a wheelbase of 2,950mm. Inside the cabin, occupants are greeted by an 8.8-inch instrument screen and a sizable 15.6-inch central control screen. Additionally, the vehicle features a 256-color full-spectrum ambient breathing light that supports three distinct modes, enhancing the overall driving experience.
In terms of power and performance, the Xingguang L offers a CLTC pure electric driving range of 260 kilometers, while its combined full-fuel and full-electric driving range extends up to an impressive 1,260 kilometers. Even in low-battery conditions, the vehicle maintains a commendable fuel consumption rate as low as 4.9L/100km. Moreover, the Xingguang L comes standard with 3C fast charging capabilities and is equipped with a versatile 1.5T/1.5L plug-in hybrid system. The engine is available in two versions, delivering outputs of 78kW and 105kW, respectively. Meanwhile, the electric motor boasts a maximum power of 170kW. The vehicle is further powered by a robust 37.9kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack.
